During Hillary Clinton’s press
conference the other day, which supposedly addressed her, um, odd arrangement
of conducting all Secretary of State business using a personal email account,
she made this statement: “Well, the system we used was set up for President
Clinton’s office. And it had numerous safeguards. It was on property guarded by
the Secret Service. And there were no security breaches.”
Wait. What?! Because her house was
guarded by Secret Service agents, that means there were no email “security breaches”?
Does she have any idea how computer hackers operate? Does she really think an
email security breach would involve Uzi-toting commandos who overpower the
guards, break into the house, and steal something?
Here’s a list of who quite likely will
never see a complete set of all her emails: the State Department, Trey Gowdy, F.B.I.
investigators, the media, and the American people.
Now here’s a list of who quite likely
already has a complete set of all her emails: the Chinese government, the
Russian government, the Iranian government, the N.S.A., and a 23-year-old
employee of the I.T. firm that originally set up the server and who secretly
installed a digital back door, thru which he uploaded everything to a cloud
server (including her yoga routines. Eeek!).
